Cooking and practice

Morning glory shine upon us, I will never get enough of the clarity, the different colors and purity of the sunrises. What a blessed way to open the back door to a sight that is out of a painting,  as we started our day together offering thanks and praise to the Lord, asking for blessings for the coming celebration tomorrow.

Mid morning I found myself cooking with Sr Roseleen. It was a wonderful experience to work side by side in the kitchen with Roseleen, learning of how they cook in Vietnam, stories of the other Sisters who had misfortunes in the cooking department. ;o) We made chicken, rice and veggies. It was made a little more complicated than one might predict with questioning our cooking method. Im sorry I didn't take a photo, yet it turned out well and all enjoyed.

In wonderful timing, Thato arrived for lunch, she traveled from up north to come join the celebrations and also meet some of the other Sisters too. It was great to meet her. Thato meet Pulane at the youth rally - which by the way sounds like an amazing event where all the youth come together from the city and walk together to a location then have talks, workshops and so forth. I guess a little like the Australian Youth event… possibly.

After lunch we all journey to Forest Hill to meet family, Sisters and Choir for practice.
Pulane mum had done the flower arranging, they were amazing ;o)
Family and sisters was the first rehearsal followed by the choir. In between Pulane taught me dancing, as we were in the gift procession and also I was reading which was a dance too.

By 8pm we finally turn out the lights to return home.
The choir still had a little more work they wish to do, yet in true choir style this always happens the day of event and came together amazingly, like they had been practicing for months.
