Happy Feast Day

Today is the feast day of St Paul of the Cross.
We travelled over to the mens new house - Paul of the Cross retreat centre. It was a joyous day, as the men appropriately moved into the house on this feast day. We had a grand tour of the building, seeing the sites, rooms and all the space. It is a well design, well thought out building which after taking three years is going to be well loved.

The mass started with everyone gathering outside to bless the house. Jeff lead this with Thomas helping. While we were saying our prayers there was one butterfly that came straight in the door and fly around and out again. Then sat just above the door until we enter for the continuation of the joyous liturgy. What a beautiful moment to witness, Christ in all things, reminder how our spirituality is so much connected with nature. Nature even present for the liturgy!

After the mass, we gathered in the dinning room for dinner, singing and lots of joyous talking with each other. It was a feast day to remember.
Now though, I have return back home with an early start to go to lectures with the girls so this short blog is to leave some pictures of the beautiful retreat house, plus simply say

Happy Feast Day
May the Passion of Christ alway remain in our Hearts.
