Guidelines

Sometimes I have those days, just like all of us Im sure, when I want to cry out my hands are weary, my head spins from thinking non reality and reality; letting go, lay each one down at your feet, trusting, embracing, every moment of wandering…… When You don't move the mountains I'm needing You to move, when You don't part the waters I wish I could walk through, When You don't give the answers as I cry out to You…. all I can do is trust in You!!! 

Perception is a loaded word that can bring higher goals, let people reach beyond they thought were capable of or it can be crippling. It brings limitations, expectations and often clothes people with certain layers or lenses that are not required or necessary. This is an example of humans reducing themselves through labels, english language. 

Sometimes I wish there were rules for being human, ten commandants come to mind, yet Im not referring to these - nor do I wish to diminish their importance as they are very important!!!

SOMETIMES, just sometimes, when I seek wisdom, I search for answers some general guidelines might take the rough edges off!! 

Maybe the guidelines would go a little like this - 

* You receive ONE body, you may like it or hate it; but it will be yours for the entire period on earth. It can become a Temple of God - embrace, treasure and value it including mind and spirit. 

* You have enrolled in a full-time informal school, called life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. Some lessons you may like, others might seem irrelevant yet never be fooled as knowledge is only one aspect, been present and living is another! 

*Listen to your heart, its where Christ is most present. 

* Growth is a process!!! Consisting of trail and error, experimentation. The 'failed' experiments are as much part of the process as the experiment. Never forget there is no measure nor term success or failure. 

*To garden you need to have vision! You need to see beyond what is in front of you. A little bit of water, tender and nurturing and it will flourish. 

* Others can be mirrors for you. When challenge comes from others look within as its most likely a direct reflection of something within!! Never forget or understate unconditional love, it is for all not selected people and is freely given! 

*'There' is no better than 'here'. When you're 'there' has become a 'here' you will simply obtain another 'there' that will again, look better than 'here'. 

*What you do with life is up to you! You have the opportunities, tools and resources God has given you. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours!! There is a place, time, season for all things. 

* Above all this, your answer lie before you. The answer lies within you. 

The answers in life's questions lie in front of you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust in the Creator who gave you life and come as Christ His Son!
